The Largest Civilian Flotilla of the Century: Over 200 Boats from 44 Countries Ready to Set Sail

In just a few days, history may unfold in the Mediterranean. More than 200 boats, united from 44 countries, are preparing to sail together toward Gaza. Their mission: to break an 18-year maritime blockade that has trapped over two million people.

On board are over 6,000 volunteers from around the world—doctors, artists, activists, and ordinary citizens. All have chosen courage and solidarity by joining the Global Sumud Flotilla, an international coalition of civil resistance.

Their goals are clear:

• Open a humanitarian corridor to deliver urgently needed aid and medicine.

• Increase pressure on governments and prove that the sea can be stronger than walls.

• Break the silence surrounding a siege that continues to deny Gaza freedom and dignity.

This flotilla is not a military show of force, but a peaceful appeal to the entire world: to end impunity and demonstrate that civil solidarity can cross borders where diplomacy fails.

A simple yet powerful gesture: hoisting the sails so that humanity may cross the waves.
